In Celebration of the 100% result of our First Batch of CBSE Grade 10 Students
A great achievement is usually born of great sacrifice, and is never the result of selfishness. And how true are these words! We have witnessed this process over the last two years! The results our Grade 10 Applets have achieved are in direct proportion to the effort they have applied. They have made us very proud and give validity to the reason why Apple Global School is known among the Top 5 CBSE schools in Ahmedabad.
The Grade 10 CBSE exams being their first exposure to nationwide academic competition they made sure to pitch in their best effort. There are definitely no shortcuts and our students have learnt it quite well. Successful and unsuccessful people do not vary greatly in their abilities; they vary in their desire to reach their potential.
As is usual, the more academically oriented students started putting their serious effort right from the very beginning of the session and then there were a few who needed constant cajoling, scolding or counselling by their teachers and parents to motivate them to keep up with their task. The parents were made a part of the loop with continuous updates regarding the effort made by their children and the methods of improvement.
Preparing for an external exam like this is a long term effort. Those children who are used instant gratification, it becomes quite tedious to maintain their focus on a goal which is so many months away. To keep those students on their toes and focus on their target, our teachers play a vital role in their lives. Education is the key to success in life, and teachers make a lasting impact in the lives of their students.
Our teachers’ guidance with love, firmness and patience certainly did not make it easy for these students! They have been hard task masters, demanding full dedication and exemplary work from their students. They needed to be tough in their expectations while being that very strong source of emotional support when the students were failing to reach their expected potential. There were a fair share of tears from each stakeholder, the students and the teachers, each demanding more from the other. With They seemed to have become the part of one unit in preparation to the board exam. Each party took up the failure is an opportunity to begin again more intelligently!
“Everyone who remembers his own education remembers teachers, not methods and techniques. The teacher is the heart of the educational system.” And we are very sure our Applets will always remain grateful to the dedication and diligence of their teachers.
It is time to celebrate the hardwork and success of our Applets!
