At Apple Global School, we believe that sports are not just a break from academics—they are a powerful tool for shaping young minds and building lifelong values. Through structured physical activities, students develop discipline, resilience, leadership, accountability, and self-confidence, which translate far beyond the field into everyday life.
We recognize that a physically active child is not only healthier but also more focused, emotionally balanced, and better equipped to face challenges. Sports at AGS are integrated deeply into the daily routine, promoting holistic development from the foundational years.
At AGS, every child participates in at least 35 minutes of sports or physical activity each day. This consistent engagement ensures that movement and fitness become a habit, not just an occasional event. Whether it's yoga, drills, or a team game, students stay active, alert, and energized throughout the day.
Even our youngest learners experience the joy of movement through fun, skill-based activities. Qualified coaches use age-appropriate exercises to build flexibility, balance, coordination, and motor skills through mini-games designed to lay the foundation for future sports involvement.
In the early primary years, students are exposed to a variety of sports. This stage is all about exploration—helping children discover their interests and talents while building general athletic ability and teamwork.
From Grade 4 onward, students have the opportunity to select a sport of their choice from a diverse list. Focused training sessions are conducted regularly, helping students master techniques, understand game strategies, and build stamina.
Each sport is led by a specialized coach, who brings professional expertise to the training sessions. Students demonstrating talent and dedication are offered advanced training and are groomed to participate in inter-school, district, and state-level competitions.
To ensure consistent development, we conduct Sports Fitness Assessments at regular intervals. Each student receives a sports report card, highlighting progress in core physical parameters such as strength, agility, endurance, and flexibility, as well as their skills in specific sports. This helps both the school and parents track and support their child’s growth in sports.
